Bonding Company

Bonding Company is an experimental zone of communication and realationship.
It consists of four different sections, which are OPENING, SHARING, SPARKLING, and EXPANDING.

It will be held from September 4th-6th at Jeju island as a partner of LIFT Asia 2008 conference. Seven interactive installations will be shown at the Bonding Company.


Zone 1. Opening

When people meet for the first time, they start to interact by introducing themselves. They can slowly open themselves up through the introduction. This is a zone where the artwork meets the audience and start to open up to each other.

Zone 2. Sharing

As people open up they start to share stories and experiences of their lives. In this zone, people can see where others are from and start to find common interests and similarities. Such process will prompt the people to share more about themselves and get to know each other.

Zone 3. Sparkling

Sparks appear. Now the people have introduced themselves and shared personal information. This is the “aha!” moment where they figure out that they are not total strangers to each other.

Zone 4. Expanding

At this point people have become acquainted with one another. Now it’s time to let the new relations grow into a stronger bond.
